The original nine hole course was built in 1951 by the British Steel Corporation and has changed its name several times over the years
During the seventies the course was extended to fourteen holes but due to the building of a new relief road, which cut the course in half and reverted back to nine holes.
The course while measuring 2216 yards is very tight with small greens, out of bounds very close to the fairways and greens on many holes providing a challenging test for most players.
Due to the current guidance of the Welsh Government we are running with a limited tee off availability.
